The two tires for $ 158 .... CARE get what you pay for!
The average cost of $ 80 each tire ....., and when I say cheap I mean cheap.

GO WITH !!!.... Metzler ME880 is that the best combination of performance and mileage offers ....

This is a reply to a similar question .....

There is no standard established for the purpose, as often to change tires) (without chain.
A tire is made that when the tread depth is 2 / 32 "Inch .... or buy a measure of the depth of about $ 10 to enter into any auto parts store .... Or the old way, try it with ... take one cent a penny, put her head Licoln in the tread, so you see all the heads of Lincoln, shows its depth is too low and the tire must be replaced if the tip of his head in the tread is sufficient and should soon be replaced. The only reason to replace tires are dry rotting, nail / screw holes, or visible damage to the sidewall of physical injury.
You your tire mileage depends on driving style and habits andRubber compound. Softer compounds better traction, but with fewer miles in front, combination products are attracting more difficult to be a bit less, but better mileage.

6000-8000 miles is the average of which a rear motorcycle .... There are no changes driven into its rear tires. The rubber compound tires, tire pressure, and his driving style plays a role in the life of a tire.

Do NOT set the tire pressure on tires !!!!..... It is a common mistake made by many people. The pressure on the stated values of tire pressure cearly invite ....... As a rule, under 4-6 is cash, creating what is in the tires. In addition, you can not specify the pressure from bicycle manufacturers, if you use different tires for the tire specified work, manufacturer's specified pressures are only for the OEM tires.

Dunlop and Metzler have high mileage, but the control of a little less, because it's hard combination products, Avon excellent adhesion, but to use less mileage.

What the man said, Maxxis and Bridgestone toMAL online ..... ..... Dunlop, Metzler, Avon and Pirelli top of the line ..... Maxxis is actually a medium / low quality and can not CommNet in the new Bridgestone tires, but was a few years ago one of the worst on the market .... Bridgestone has primarily a manufacturer of tires for cars that do not appear to much of motorcycle tires for a few years ago because their tires were some of the compounds most difficult to have a look on a motorcycle, which didn ' was not treated well on wet roads and in all like shit ..... Stick with brands that specialize in motorcycles. The only exception to this rule section Pirelli tires are at the forefront .... everything the Italians, the construction of first class.

Bridgestone makes some good tires today, but you look bottom-of-the-line models. For Metzeler. They have an excellent combination of handling, grip and wear characteristics. You should have no problem with 8000 kilometers from the front, but that many miles on a rear tire to ask a Sportster 1200th Harleys are not particularly easy due to the rear wheels, both because of the power pulse on a V-Twin and the development of the shipping weight. You can donate if you are still slightly on gas, but what would be a joke there?

I throw my two cents in, first, if you buy tires, you need two things happen, who will be very disappointed, both can end up in the back of the slide.
I used to own a HD Softail Springer Dunlop him unhappy with wet / monitoring the peak tire went to the mainland, wear long, but rock-hard tires, poor rainy, I live in Indiana, it was with 880 Metzler from the recommendation. Now I have a great cruiser when wearing Dunlop I went directly to the Metzler. They are not the mileage of the Dunlop and Conti (10,000), I filled in a cupboard, but driving in wet and bumpy roads are no problem. The people are recommending for some reason (Metzler) are good for street tires!
