Scleroderma I Have Scleroderma, And Would Like To Know How To Rid The Swelling In My Hands And Feet?

I have scleroderma, and would like to know how to rid the swelling in my hands and feet? - scleroderma

I come from severe swelling in his hands and in the evening or when I drink. I have to sleep in the house too cold for the swelling to minimum stay. When I drink, my hands very hot and swollen. During the day, not much of a symptom. A true power is not with the ring because I do not wear my wedding ring, and I'm a ring-o-holic.

Dana hi,

I have the same problem and swollen so bad, sometimes at night can not close my hands and legs and thighs, they make mistakes.

Now I use half for the legs and helps a lot and I ankle pumps (foot moves up and down) - This helps to push the swelling of the region. Any form of muscle movement / contraction draw fluid from the region. I manual lymphatic drainage to remove the liquid zone. This is a link to a video. I have the DVD and is very useful: http://www.realbodywork.com/lymph/lymph. ...

Compression Stockings better than pantyhose. You can wear them at night while you sleep, or at any time. They make socks and gloves to maintain compression of the swelling down:

This page looks good, but I have not ordered them. You can check it.

I have not yet been diagnosed - and I want to know why I'm so swollen. In fact, only occursNight and in the shower.

Ask your doctor if you are OK wear compression stockings to help. I do not really believe that it handicaps scleroderma. However, MLD can be - not sure.

You can try soaking in cold water for your hands. You can also ask doctors the best way to relieve swelling.

Alcohol is a vasodilator and could lead to an increase in blood flow into the hands of the fat.
