Today my father-in-law has had, difficulty swallowing and changes in how the things you love. Their problems were confirmed by a neurological disorder. He also has COPD (and still has) never a smoker, and yesterday afternoon I was trying on the phone with him, talk to him with an inhaler for the first time, this can be a challenge with swallowing disorders.

Tobacco, drugs, medical treatments, and many diseases can both problems. Keep your doctor before you have any questions get straight answers and not be afraid to go for a second opinion or even third. It took almost 5 years for my father to get an accurate diagnosis.

Yup. Everyone told me it was a combination of medications I take, and more. I liked almost everything, and now I'm not. There are too many things that I loved, I know not even smell. Ah! The joys of aging!

Yes, change or loss of smell and taste may be the result of aging, certain medications or medical problems. Loss of smell may be an early sign of Alzheimer's disease and suspected that my mother had long since she was diagnosed with it.
